Mr. Desalegn Tesfa is an assistant professor of Master of Public Health with Specialty in Reproductive and Child Health at Debre Tabor University, Debre Tabor, Ethiopia. He was received his master’s degree from university of Gondar, Gondar, Ethiopia in 2016. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Central University College in 2013. Upon completing his Master's degree, Desalegn Tesfa commenced his tenure at Debre Tabor University in 2016. His academic responsibilities encompassed teaching, research, and community service, focusing on various public health issues. He actively contributed to committees involved in program and curriculum development and revision, as well as assessing research proposals during grant calls. Before his tenure at the university, he served as a clinician in both governmental and private health institutions. Desalegn Tesfa has contributed to numerous research projects and community service initiatives, resulting in published work in peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he presented his research findings at various national research conferences.
His research interests encompass Reproductive Health, Maternal Health, Sexual Health, Child Health, Quality of Life, Non-communicable Diseases, and Mental Health.
