
Debre Tabor University Hosts Transformative Leadership Training for Executives and Team Leaders
Debre Tabor University has conducted a high-caliber leadership training aimed at enhancing the strategic and managerial acumen of its executives and team leaders. The program, meticulously designed to refine leadership efficacy, encompassed a profound exploration of leadership principles and their transformative role in institutional advancement.
The training was inaugurated by Dr. Firehiwot Endale, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, who underscored the university’s unwavering commitment to leadership excellence. She emphasized that, since the implementation of the new structural framework, a series of leadership enhancement initiatives have been undertaken. She further urged participants to engage with utmost diligence, as such capacity-building efforts are instrumental in elevating the university’s overall performance. Dr. Firehiwot also highlighted that the previous training sessions had significantly inspired university leaders at various levels, reaffirming the necessity of active participation.
Scholars Dr. Gizachew Tilahun and Dr. Mulatu Masresha spearheaded the training, delivering insightful sessions on the essence of leadership, confidence building, assertiveness, effective communication, conflict resolution strategies, and team leadership dynamics. Engaging discussions ensued on each theme, fostering intellectual exchange.
