
Debre Tabor University has officially launched Faida Digital ID Registration
DTU has officially launched Faida Digital ID Registration by establishing a registration station at the University Clinic Hall on March 3, 2017. This initiative marks a significant step towards modernizing the university’s administrative and educational processes, enabling a more efficient and reliable system for managing student information.
During the launch ceremony, Mr. Abebaw Tadesse, head of the Registrar’s Office, emphasized the crucial role that digital ID plays in linking and ensuring the accuracy of students’ educational records from the outset. He stated that this system is designed to mitigate distorted educational information, eliminate duplication, and facilitate easy access to student data. Mr. Abebaw encouraged all students to visit the University Clinic Hall to complete their registration, as the process officially commenced today.
Mr. Fasikaw Worku, Executive Director of Information and Communication Technology, also addressed the gathering. He highlighted that implementing digital ID registration holds great potential for advancing the digitalization of education at Debre Tabor University. He affirmed that all necessary preparations had been made to ensure a smooth registration process and that the initiative had successfully begun.
The introduction of Faida Digital ID Registration represents a milestone in the university’s ongoing efforts to modernize its administrative practices and enhance the accuracy and accessibility of student information, ultimately contributing to the broader digital transformation of the educational sector.
